 •   represented and successfully defended the employer, the largest minority–owned fast-food franchisor in the nation, in a widely publicized claim of employment discrimination based upon an alleged failure to accommodate religion brought by the United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission in the United States District Court for the District of Maryland;

 

•    represented and successfully defended the employer corporation, a multi-state operator of restaurants, and its owner, against claims brought by management employees for alleged breaches of employment contracts in Superior Court for Fulton County, Georgia, culminating in the voluntary dismissal by all Plaintiffs of all claims on the first day of trial;

 

•   represented and successfully defended the employer corporation, successor corporation, and owner against claims brought by terminated corporate officer for breach of employment contract and failure to deliver alleged employment incentives in the United States District Court for the District of Maryland;

 

 •   represented and successfully defended employer, a Maryland corporation, a multi-state government contractor of the United States Immigration and Naturalization Service, against claims for employment discrimination and retaliatory discharge, in the Superior Court for Orange County, California;

 

 •   developed strategy and directed defense, through local counsel, of Maryland corporation, a multi-state government contractor of the United States Immigration and Naturalization Service, against multiple California wage and hour complaints brought by past and present employees alleging employer violations of California wage and hour regulations, culminating in determination by California Labor Commissioner of employer compliance with California law; and,

 

 •   represented and successfully defended, through various dispute resolution techniques, multi-state corporation, against numerous claims brought by multiple former employees of corporation in Maryland and Michigan for alleged wrongful termination and breaches of employment contracts, resulting in decisions by employees and their respective counsel to refrain from filing formal complaints and to cease pursuit of such claims.
